BJP struggles because of strategic voting by minorities. The majority is only 50% of the total population.
This is changing gradually as seen by the seats won in TVM.
If you look at demographics, you will see that some districts will be untouchable for BJP - especially bcoz of the large Muslim population.
Rajdeep's bias is clear from the discussion.

There need no of much explanation, we know how to love each other irrespective of religion and caste. We can understand people who brings hate. This is the truth, not as he says.

His story is so sad inspite of being a learned man -Vice Chancellor of a University. Opportunism drags even educated people unto it!

Travelling through Kerala, I noticed a strong sense of religious harmony and respect between communities. People are warm, open minded, and good hearted. It’s easy to understand why the BJP has struggled to gain political ground there. Kerala has its own unique culture of unity, education and social awareness.
So no place for the BJP

Why has the BJP not been able to establish a strong political foothold in Kerala?

One possible reason is Kerala’s unique political and social culture.

Kerala has a highly politically aware population. People actively discuss politics, question governments and political parties, and have a long tradition of political participation.

At the same time, Kerala has a diverse society where people from different religions and communities have lived together for generations. This tradition of social coexistence and communal harmony is an important part of Kerala’s identity.

In my view, Kerala’s political awareness, strong local political networks, and tradition of living together across religious and social communities have made the political landscape different from many other states.

That may be one reason why the BJP has found it difficult to build the same level of political influence in Kerala.

Politics in Keralam is central to left. People in Radhakrishnan can only look through communal prism.
