  I went to visit a friend who lives 225 miles north of Los Angeles, and got stuck in a very bad intersection dew to wonky streets and traffic lights. After a few minutes I said "where the heck is Biffa and Hugo when you need them?" Within 5 min of my outcry something happened and things started moving again. It seems the you in my matrix work quickly and upon request. I wanted to drop you a line, and tell you that you have imbedded yourself in my psyche, and thank you for the years of entertainment and instructions you have provided. Looking forward to many more.

  I feel like the OP didn't have any surface connections between district blocks, and forced everyone to use the highway to get across.

  Some people in these comments cant seem to understand that not everyone has such immense knowledge of how these things work. They may be new to the game, they may not have an in depth understanding of transportation systems and roads. <br><br>This series was not created to make fun of those who submit their cities to Biffa. It was created for Biffa and others in the community to help and offer advice to them, to help them become better for the future cities they make. <br><br>Anyone who comes into these comments to make fun of the creator of the city, should think back to their early gaming days where they made mistakes that they wouldn&apos;t make with the experience they have now.

  Thank you for providing the link to the save file, I always like to give these a shot before I watch your attempt. I made a bypass to connect to the open highway connections, but I also noticed that each of the city districts had no connections between them other than the highway, so everyone was going to the highway and clogging it up. Adding some local roads to connect them helped out hugely to spread out the traffic.

  I would love you to do a mass transit challenge. For your next city. Make a city that primary uses Trains, Subways, Trams, or ferries (which would make a cool island hopping map), as the primary source of transit.

  At any heavily trafficked corner, I always use the lane connector tool to get rid of U-turns and Unsafe turns and it makes a HUGE difference in sorting traffic. &nbsp;Those SPUIs need a lot of attention from the lane connector tool before they work like they should. &nbsp;Also, disabling parking near heavy traffic intersections can make a bigger difference than I&apos;d have thought.

  so i&apos;ve never played a city builder before, but i absolutely fell in love with City Skylines, and that being said, fell in love with your traffic fixing videos! they&apos;ve taught me so much x)

  One of the problems I usually see when fixing cities is that traffic goes into the city but it doesn&apos;t leave. That immediately tells you that the SIMS don&apos;t have ways to abandon the city or they are struggling. Usually this happens because intersections are badly set up, there aren&apos;t enough of them or there are many, MANY, trucks from industry clogging up the city taking the shortest route. Always make sure the exits are clear, try to separate industry and shopping districts from city roads (sounds weird but you can connect city with shopping districts with pedestrian bridges or metro lines) and remember to upgrade your roads, it&apos;s ok for a small road to deal with 200 cars but not 5000.
