"Tera ghar bhi chandni se abaad ho. Tere ghar bhi beti ho."<br><br>This line is very very deep. As a kid I believed that having a daughter was a curse. But as a grown up I understand why its said so. This dialogue showcases the rage of a mother who was insulted unnecessarily. Therefore she blessed the family with the hope they have a daughter soon, so they realize what it feels like to be at the recieving end of abuse.

Everybody rightfully praising SRK and Aishwarya, but Kirron Kher was always the true star of the movie for me. She filled the screen with her presence, dancing, cheerful, proud, miserable or desperate, she's incredible

At the end Paro was a source of pride for mother, she's has kept her dignity and integrity in tact. wealth and status didn't keep Devdas from alcoholism and brothels. Anyways Paro was too valuable, too good for Devdas's cold hearted family
