There was definitely a point where I knew that I was only working by choice and that was a long time before retirement (around 50). So, to summarize your video, not realizing the system is set up to screw you until you are at the verge of retirement shows your investment plan has always been below optimum. Planning also has to include constant attention to the ability of governments to unilaterally change the rules against you, They've done it before and no doubt will do it again.

The short version in one sentence: It all depends if you have a pension from employment and how much dollars are outside registered accounts ! Every “‘case” is different!
