  The one thing you missed is that at the 14/15 screen (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vssobl5ndWc&amp;t=701">11:41</a>) the mayor is completely covering up the shark fin on the sign, which is essentially what he wants to do, to pretend it was never there.

  One other VERY important item to note in my humble opinion. &nbsp;Any director willing to attempt this type of one long shot is someone who has absolute 100% confidence in their actors. &nbsp;Spielberg knew how good of a cast he had. &nbsp;I&apos;ve always loved this scene as well. Good video.

  Good eye for that Wellesian low-angle composition. Clever, too, how Spielberg uses a tilt-up to the billboard as an excuse to motivate his low angle.

  Love the story about Dreyfuss&apos; continual flub of the Latin name for the shark, Carcharodon carcharias, so it was written on a cue card and held out of frame over Scheider&apos;s left shoulder. You can see Dreyfuss sneak a peek at it just before delivering that line at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vssobl5ndWc&amp;t=189">3:09</a>.

  Spielberg to actors and crew (1975): “Do whatever but just get it in one shot and keep everybody in frame. We don’t have time to any more editing!”

  The mayors specific colour of jacket represents JAWS. &nbsp;Brody and Hooper are dressed in black which represents the dorsal fin on the billboard. &nbsp;Spielberg shot this scene as though two smaller sharks were attacking the big shark. &nbsp;He was creating tension and foreshadowing the inevitable shark hunt. &nbsp;The billboard represents Quint&apos;s fishing boat.

  Perfection from a master. One of the best examples available. Nice work. The actors are also on top of their game. They had to do a complete take without screw ups. Most really good actors love this stuff. Like stage acting in front of the camera. The camera crew the Director the acting. Here’s a lesson for Filmmaker, if you don’t want your story to be completely retold in the edit room when you have no control of do it in the “Oner”
