Been listening and playing blues all my life. My son is named after SRV. In my opinion Josh is one of the greatest blues guitarists of all time. For me alongside Derek Trucks probably the best living blues guitarist. So humble. So delicate. Such a beautiful touch. Sophisticated phrasing. And that tone is just other worldly. He has it all.

I love blues players who know how to phrase and don't just mindlessly play fast. Such great Emotion and technique!

Josh excels in so many areas, but what really grabs my ear, is his dynamics.

Killer Josh! Thanks.

I get the feeling the man has a good two to three hours of stuff up his sleeve. Just a rich smorgasbord at his fingertips, coaxed out subconsciously, just on feel. And puts a lot of emotion into it at those special spots.
