It always looks so easy watching someone else play vs actually playing yourself

That long calculation he did in the second game was genuinely so cool.

24:00 this is so impressive how well you articulate yourself while simultaneously finding several high level calculations. You really are the GOAT , Levy. I legit signed up for YouTube premium over a year ago just so I could binge your videos without having to watch all the ads😂 I have played chess now for 18 months in my free time and I have gotten to 1500 just from your teachings. You have helped me get through some dark times in my personal life as well, and I will for sure be buying both of your new books! To any kids reading this, Yes I know I am glazing now go do your homework before mommy yells at you. We need to normalize men complimenting each other when it’s warranted. There’s a significant difference between recognizing someone’s hard work because you want to show appreciation, and “glazing” .

23:34 this is why I love chess, seeing a sequence of moves that has layers and layers, I never would have seen that, but the fact that it works is amazing

15:43 a great concept for your next book should be “when and how to push pawns in front of your king in the middle game” as it’s exactly positions like this where intermediate to advanced players feel like they have no idea what to do.
