The sound of the "coqui" frog is the lullaby of every Puerto RIcan child. My mother used to open the windows in the early evenings and, since we lived right at the edge of the tropical rainforest, the cocqui would knock me out to sleep in a few seconds.

Being 100% Puerto Rican myself, it would be nice to be back home. I moved out of there when I was 4 years old, so I never got the chance to grow up where I came from, but I miss the wonderful rainy weather and adorable the Coqui's croaking every night whenever I visit for family reunions. Perhaps one day I can live there once I learn my Spanish again.

Im one 100% Puerto Rican. Yet the only time ive been to puerto Rico was when i was 18mnths old with my grandpa!! But never been there as an adult<br> Im praying that God could make that happen for me before i get to old!! I knw its already done. Thank you

I lived in PR a for three years and this brings me back this is what helped me sleep at night is hearing the coqui frogs out of my plastic windows with beach shutters lol thank you so much
