  I live in a 1920s house, which has no closets, pantry, coat closet, or cleaning closet. &nbsp;I have 4 two door kitchen cabinets and the undersink one in the kitchen and bath. I bought a used wooden antique freestanding pantry , I used the one small bedroom as a closet and hung closet rails on the wall. I used an old bookcase my son gave me for storage of small things in decorative boxes I got at garage sales in that closet. My husband built some open shelves in the bathroom for towels, I have some used metal 1950&apos;s cabinets above the washer and dryer. We had to get creative! I hung some hooks in the closet to hang mops and brooms etc. on, I tied ribbons on the handle holes and hung them. . I keep my cleaning supplies on a Raskog cart from Ikea. Everything has a home. My mother kept a home clean with just a broom, mop, dustpan and dustrag. I have more cleaning supplies but now have them handy. I am 73 and disabled but my home stays clean and tidy. I think people call this thinking outside the box, lol.
