  Thanks for watching the video, I realised I probably should have explained what a monoblock amplifier is for new people.  Its just an amplifier for one channel hence the reason you need two of them one for each speaker 😎

  Nice vid. One recommendation would be to try the V3 monos with Sparkos op amps and individual power supplies. My fully active rig kicks like an ornery mule.

  Great video Terry I run these with 2 x 48 volt power suppies to keep them true mono so you are providing the maximum current delivery for each amplifier and no cross talk between a single power supply much better. Also I use BFA (British Federation of Audio) speaker connectors not spades or bananas as the BFA connectors provide the best connection between amplifier and speaker 🙂

  These amps can run out of steam and also not preferring larger rooms where in HK, we usually don&apos;t have large rooms so most music lovers will not reach the threshhold sound level. So I think these amps&apos; limitation is to find the sweet spot and stay there, unlike more expensive amps that sounds phenominal from low to high volume levels, a trade off but if tuned carefully, can be rewarding.<br><br>I had borrowed a pair of these V3 for trial sharing single PS but it &nbsp;does not ring a bell to me and I switched back to my old Aiyima stereo amp and it sounds more engaging and musical. Later I also find out that using the conventional heavier PS &nbsp;brick is much preferred over the lighter GaN brick. So it&apos;s a trial and error and I always think these affordable tiny Class D amps do sound different from model to model. &nbsp;<br><br>cheers and Merry Christmas!

  You can buy seperate power supplies, it&apos;s basically a mix and match option to suit your wallet.The led sometimes won&apos;t be seated correctly in the groove for it especially if you&apos;ve opened them once. This gives an impression of brightness imbalance

  Great review, having used a pair of ZA3s for the last year which are newer units of similar design and costs to the ones here, I would agree with your experience, the use of two feeds from one PSU is probably the biggest handicap, it kind of negates the monobloc concept when the channels can cross modulate each other not unlike a stereo amplifier with a common power supply. However, one can easily buy another PSU making them into a true monobloc setup for a little extra money and when I did this with the ZA3s, with dual 48V 10A PSUs, it transformed the sound completely, driving my B&amp;W 802s to sound incredible, it may be interesting to see if it does the same for this system?

  I bought two ZA3 and have them running as monoblocks with Indiana Line Utah 5 and they proved to be quite up to the work. Hiding the two powerplants away and they are really good for smaller rooms. They also have a 12Vdc Trigger function for shutting them down. I like very much your reviews and it is a great thing that you try out and present also products for the lesser well endowed pockets. Thank you for it.

  They are definitely fun to play around with. Once I hook up an older class AB amp I always get the impression of &quot;ahh...that&quot;s what I&apos;ve been missing.&quot; Just my opinion. They&apos;&apos;re still fun. These get just as hot as my old Adcom GFA 5802 which is never good 😄

  One of the big choke points in my mind with these kind of modules is the long thin dc supply cables and puny power input jacks.
