  A decent amount of the theories I come up with in this video are under the assumption that everything they showed us in the trailers about Slayhem Mode and its first trial is accurate - it&apos;s entirely possible these are red herrings, and I shouldn&apos;t be using them to predict the first victim. HOWEVER, it&apos;s fun for me to try and figure it all out, so regardless of whether a certain death portrait is actually from Slayhem Mode, or whether a certain character makes it to the 5th trial or not, I still had a great time trying to workshop different possibilities :)<br><br><br>Let me know any theories you came up with that I didn&apos;t cover in this video!

  The &quot;please enjoy this game until the credits roll&quot; line makes me immediately think of Twilight Syndrome Murder Case, which had a secret code at the end of the credits. While I don&apos;t expect it, it would be neat if Slayhem mode ends up having something tied to pressing down 5 times on the title screen as a nod to it.

  The whole &quot;Mioda Crew is innocent&quot; line is making me think that maybe one of the motives is that people are going to have to work in teams, and the whole team graduates if they deceive everyone. But in exchange, the whole team gets executed if one of their members were found out.

  I don&apos;t personally put much stock in character sprites or truth bullets, because those could easily be tampered with to hide plot elements from the final game. I recall Prerelease of V3 showing the first victim in a Scrum Debate despite them never actually making it to trial in the final game.<br><br>...However, I DO think that art of Hajime and Mahiru in the courtroom while it&apos;s on fire is pretty good grounds to believe that Mahiru lives longer, because that&apos;s a whole-ass cutscene with new art and everything. I dunno if they&apos;d put in that much effort just for the fakeout.

  Ok, hear me out.<br><br>Maxing out the &quot;Slayhem meter&quot; will either A: Make you a priority target for others to kill, like an incentive, B: make you more likely to kill by some wierd digital tech world stuff, or C: (the theory i think is the most possible) give you access to the slayhem items to make nearly impossible murders happen because you don&apos;t know who got what.
