My heart aches for the woman who sought assistance from the police department (for a very valid concern), yet was quickly dismissed. 😢

Imagine if this happened in our modern times. Them package snatchers would be learning a deadly lesson.

The first case took place during the Unabomber's active period. Why did the police tell her "anonymous packages are not a crime"?

Eleanor: “Hmm, something’s not right here. I should call to tell the police about this package”

Me: “YAY, PRESENTS!”

I can't imagine sending anyone a bomb for any hurt they may have caused me personally but if a "friend" asked me , I'd be contacting the authorities not helping them. Why do people do that?

Crazy how she called the police but they couldn’t do shit cause it wasn’t a “crime at first”

The family was right to reject Stevens!

This stuff is crazy. I remember in 1998-99 we had some kids leaving pipe bombs in just random areas and dirt trails. Thankfully someone snitched and they caught them before anyone got hurt

Next time someone gets a suspicious package and police refuse to do their job and check it just mail it to them so their last asses can be removed.

Talk about a grudge! It hurts to be rejected but sometimes you just have to walk away from bad relationships. Mike Stevens didn't get the memo that the best form of revenge is success!
