  It was good to hear KM talk about curriculum in schools near the end. I do not envy schoolteachers.<br>I was really quite shocked by Walid&apos;s comment/question about why Singaporeans know so little about the &apos;founding fathers&apos; aside from LKY earlier in the conversation. <br>Surely there are some obvious reasons (in the realm of time/resources/politics) why parts of our history isn&apos;t and hasn&apos;t been well taught! The reverse question is, what made you think that Singaporeans should already know it? What common experiences would have led us to know it? <br>Perhaps Teh Tarik with Walid needs a follow-up show with some commentary and features what Walid thinks, especially those which were not included or that he chose not to say within the episode itself for time reasons. If this is the result of the ivory tower, perhaps Walid needs to do a project which brings him in person to the ground (or at least his students)<br>Nice to have the more light-hearted treatment of the topic of cars at the end. I&apos;m guessing that there&apos;s a psychological issue of &apos;control&apos; and personal space at stake behind why Singaporeans want to have cars. It&apos;s really not fun to squeeze into the MRT or bus and not have a seat, and the routes are not as direct as cars. Personally not a fan of self-driving cars. Car-sharing I&apos;d support. The trend now is also for more motorised non-car transportation, so hopefully the govt is catching up!<br>Thanks for doing this programme and keeping the comments open!

  Think Walid should be more relaxed and calm in this informal chat. Walid seems to look a bit uncertain or even trying to talk over KM while he’s speaking. Walid should have gone for a breather before starting this chat!

  China is so focused on the US, Taiwan issue and South China Sea disputes , when actually the greater threat could come from Western and Central Asia . The TIP army, which seeks independence for Xinjiang, has just played a pivotal role in toppling Assad from power in Syria. Many of the fighters in the TIP are from Xinjiang. They are fuelled by revenge for the oppression of their fellow Uighurs by the CCP govt. China created its own worst enemy- and it is not the US, Taiwan, Japan. It is the TIP, al-Qaeda and their allies.
