I'm a 70 yr old construction worker from the Ozark hills and I am always busy and I don't have time to waste watching TV but I love listening to these audiobooks and this one has the perfect voice to listen to. I like fiction and nonfiction but I like real history that is narrated in a way that keeps me interested and this one is great because there are many audiobooks that I stop listening to after the first minute if the voice is too monotone, too simp or the worst is the mouth smacking sounds. Great job!

Appalachian Mountains Virginia. My husbandβs ancestor was a member of the Knights of the Golden Horseshoe Expedition across the Blue Ridge Mountains in 1716. God Bless our Rangers and Forest Fighters!

Live between the coastal mountains and Rockies. Past 65 yrs. Spent hours alone in the bush because I feel more at home there than in the city. Black bears, occasional Grizzly, Cougar, Wolves and the rest of the small predators. Sometimes I would just get a feeling, nothing obvious, and I would just move on. In the woods there is no reason to 'prove' anything.
