  I used to have a vintage Mercedes 6.9 that cost over $50,000 in 1990s money for repairs over a very short period. My Mercedes mechanic one day flatly told me this car is a lemon for the amount you put into repairing it. You could buy a brand new 2000 SL 500. My blood went cold because I realized he was probably right. I took him up on his advice and bought a fairly new/used 1998 Mercedes SL 500. I still have that car today. It has been Lexus reliable. The only thing I’ve had to repair was the roof hydraulics.

  Been subscribed to RCR for 10 years, finally made it on the channel! Thanks for having me Roman and Mr Regular. I&apos;ll be selling the SL in the spring.

  so &quot;old money&quot; that even the worn/repaired passenger headlight looks like its wearing a fancy monocle. &nbsp;And the windshield crack are $200 pre ripped jeans. &nbsp;<br>But much respect for putting in $ on the classic.
