Hope you enjoyed your stay. I was in Cape Town and Jburg last year, and nay.. Nairobi is way behind.. especially on infrastructure, and urban planning. With proper leadership, it’s possible for Nairobi to rise, but I must admit that most South African cities i visited were a notch higher than some European cities…

Well done. Thank you for sharing. As a Caribbean-American family that has been in Nairobi for a few years, we found your perspective enlightening. Btw, we love Joburg and KZN. Being in Durban is so much like being in my birth country at times. Nevertheless, we think its awesome to be able to navigate in all of these spaces as God guides and inspires us, and still be in a place we can call “home”. These lands don’t compete in our hearts. Collectively, they compliment & complete. We’re gratefull for both.
