Just wanna throw this out as a first time owner of a 3D printer. The Elegoo CC2 has been a very great purchase, but if youre tormented by the harrowing grinding sounds the toolhead makes when it moves a certain way this might help. The noise is caused by the toolhead cover vibrating vigorously against the main toolhead body, so to fix this I used adhesive putty(You can use any vibration absorbant material) and applied a thin layer on two parts; on the heatbreak fan that's in contact with the toolhead and on the opposite side where its in contact with the toolhead cover(I'd focus more on the latter). This reduced the noise significantly for me, though it can sometimes still be heard if you really try to listen for it. Another way is to use something that tightens the toolhead cover to the body -- Ive seen people use rubber band and tape, but this method seems like a hassle when you have to do maintenance

I bought my CC2 two months ago for $279. I don't use the side mounts. Instead, I bought a Creality dryer and with a minor mod it feeds the Canvas directly from it. Works like a charm.

When BL pissed me off for the same reasons, I bought the Creality K2 Combo. A great machine as well, I now hardly use my A1 for anything anymore.

I have an H2S, P1S, and I just picked up a Snapmaker U1. For real, I am blown away by how good the U1 has been. I've been printing full time for 5 days since I got it, and there hasn't been a single bad print. My partner is going on a cruise in a couple weeks and her and her sister love hiding little figurines around the ship (I guess this is a sponsored thing the ship does) and enjoys people finding them. Well, I've printed 65 figurines thus far and they all look better than even my H2S prints, uses literally 1/4 or less of the filament due to zero waste, and is about 2 - 3 times faster due to no filament swapping. Anyway, I really didn't expect it to be this good. I had a creality before my Bambu's and that thing was miserable.

Love my CC2 and being running it for months. Can even watch it print through Home Assistant. The nights just fly by in our house.

I started with CREALITY, so I'm going back to them myself.
