  I got to talk with Freddie during BP before a game in Boston - lifelong Braves fan.  They say don't meet your heroes because they will disappoint you, but I say that's only if you pick the wrong heroes. He is exactly who you see - caring, kind, considerate, genuine.  He adhered to the rules MLB put out for Covid (couldn't sign my sign) but talked and took a photo with the fans.  He is an awesome guy, and I was sad to see him go, but I love to see him glow.  I wish him nothing but the best, and he deserves it.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKH71P6_DV8&amp;t=790">13:10</a> I currently work at dodger stadium and freeman is one of the few players that insists that dodgers stadium employees don&apos;t need to exit the elevator so he can be the only person in it. Hes also very down to earth, he greets you and says good morning/afternoon/night overall a stand up guy. Hes also an amazing father you&apos;ll see him bringing his boys out to the field and playing catch with them. Imagine your dad being a dodger super star and him bringing you out to the field to play catch.

  My sister was fully paralyzed from Guillain-Barré growing up. The learning to walk again takes so much out of you. Freddie has got one tough kid that’s for sure.

  As a SoCal native and lifelong Dodger fan, I really love this dude. I feel bad for the fans in Atlanta. When Freddie hit that walkoff in game 1 there were as many Braves fans expressing how much they loved and missed him as Dodger fans expressing their love of Freeman giving us that moment. He’s now one of my favorite players

  One time a friend caught Freddie at a bar in Atlanta when he was still coming up and under most fans’ radars. He said he was one of the nicest and funniest guys he’d ever met.
