I lost my wife almost ten years ago and a lot, maybe most of the time, my TV is on most of the time, if for no other reason to get rid of the silence to make noise and to make it seem like there is someone here. Three years ago I had to put my Brittny down for medical reasons, lately I've been going to the pet stores and have been going to the local humane society and I don't know why .Every time I've had to put down a dog, I would say never again and I end up getting another one.

I'm sure his late wife had a hand in connecting these two souls who saved and healed each other. I've known dogs who talked like that. My brother's collie would visit and talk to me like he was sharing what was happening at my brother's place including things he wasn't happy about. He was not wrong. I'd just hug him and tell him what a good boy he was to watch after that family and the boys.

Got our first dog after tragically losing our son. In grief I was running round and all I could say was 'I need a dog, I need a dog!'. God bless you Holly, then Cassie when you left and now Lola.... much greater companions than humans. Dog... it's God in reverse. Bless and protect them all.
