  TLDR LIST<br>1. Never put the VR headset in direct sunlight, as it will ruin the lenses.<br>2. Forcefully removing/breaking the facial interface.<br>3. Try to not get scratches on the lenses, do not use your shirt or paper towels. Use a microfiber cloth<br>4. Never fill up the storage all the way, as it will lead to performance issues.<br>5. Do not use bluetooth headphones, due to latency. Use wired headphones or the speakers.<br>6. Get rechargeable AA batteries for your controllers. But you could also get a recharge dock<br>7. Do not overcharge your headset batteries as it can shorten the battery lifespan.<br>8. Comfort and motionsickness. Take a small break if you feel nauseous.<br>9. Set up your boundary space properly to avoid punching a wall/TV. Invest in a VR treadmill if you want.<br>10. Do not pre-order VR Titles that you may be hyped for, as it may turn out to not be good in the slightest. Example; Hitman 3 VR Reloaded.<br>11. Controller stick drift, clean your joystick regularily, fix by increasing dead space input.<br>12. Do not play in a dark room, tracking will be less accurate.<br>13. Turn off the headset completely when not using it. Leave it on long enough and it will have slowdown issues. A restart will fix it.<br>14. Not using the full potential of the Quest 3, buy or get the Quest Games Optimizer.<br>15. Unlock SideQuest as you get more games, granted they are experimental and in Beta.

  All good tips. &nbsp;One other thing to consider, if you do want to use your Quest 3 in the dark, is to get an infrared light. &nbsp;I bought a cheap one and it works great! &nbsp;No lights needed!

  plus, remember that passing from a pretty heavy games to an another may lead to a drastic fps and quality loss, so clear your cache by simply restaring the headset

  using a door mat also helps too. Many people go for a cirle carpet but the benefit of the door mat is that the rectangular shape helps you keep oriented.

  one thing is, the 3 does very well tracking in a mostly dark room. i can play with just my backlit keyboard on and the tracking is the same.
