  I just woke up with a slight fever, feeling nauseous, and with a terrible headache—I could barely get out of bed. All the boys jumped into my bed and asked what they could do to help. I told them to put their hands on me and say, ‘By the blood of Jesus, you are healed.’ They did that, and I started praying, saying, ‘I receive it; healing is my portion,’ and I quietly began to worship. In two minutes, the fever went away, my body temperature went down, and both the headache and stomachache were completely gone!

  I was listening to this message when my eldest son, who’s 8 years old, ran up to me asking if we could pray over our home. I sat down with him and my other two boys, who are 3 and 4, and told them about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Together, they all prayed after me, inviting Jesus into their hearts as their Lord and Savior. They asked to pray over our home with anointing oil, so we walked around our entire house, praying over every room, door, window, and bed. They prayed so loudly and fervently that I could feel the Holy Spirit on them. Although it was a lot to do at once, and I offered to stop, wanted to keep going. They stayed with me through the entire prayer until we were completely done. I’m so grateful this happened on Halloween, just an hour after I explained why we don’t celebrate this day. I’m so glad we got to mark it as the day they prayed, received Jesus, and immediately wanted to know about the Holy Spirit!
