  I thought the 6100 sounded better. The 6200 sounded clipped to me. But each to their own I suppose.

  I have both, im going to sell the 6200, i prefer the older model, the 6100 is just better in every way 🤷

  The difference is relatet to that the X6100 transmitt with a higher bandwith compared with the x6200 - which also seen in the spectrum. I.e. this is not primary related to the audio chain but to the transmitting bandwith. X6100 is therefore more easy to copy which is extra important with QRP transmissions.

  I think, so far the X6200 is not worth the upgrade (particularly not at that price). The difference in the audio is - in my opinion - way not that big to justify an upgrade.

  To me, the 6100 with it&apos;s original Mic sounded better to my older ears. &nbsp;I have both radios as well as the G90 and G106, all fun to use radios. &nbsp;My understanding is the 6200 Mic has a weight in it to give it the heavier feel. &nbsp;I have not opened either Mic to see what is inside. &nbsp;The display seems clearer on my 6100, but I really like the ability to swap batteries in the 6200, and I think the handles are cool. &nbsp;Each of the 4 different models of Xiegu I have all display some unique and fun features. &nbsp;I&apos;ve been licensed over 65 years and more appreciate the small sized and lighter weight rigs. &nbsp;73!

  Considering the huge price difference I’d stay with the 6200. I have had both. The 6200 had loads of power issues so I sent it back. Both radios were great to use. But if I had to only have One it would be the 6100.
