  I find it funny how Obi-wan in the the actual scene says "So uncivilized". When the deleted scene was brutal.

After Shaak Ti was killed, the next major thing that happened was that Anakin and Obi-Wan cut a hole in the floor and made a run for it. Something tells me that the interaction between Anakin, Obi-Wan and Grievous that made it in the final cut was meant to replace this bullshit...

  The reason the Ep6 scene was deleted was because him finishing his new lightsaber was going to be his introduction in the film.<br><br>But after the revelation of Vader being his father in Ep5, they wanted his introduction to be more mysterious, so you question if Luke could follow in Vaders footsteps.<br><br>So when we first see him, he&apos;s wearing all black and force choking the guards. So we&apos;re left questioning his morality.

  Even though it&apos;s good it was deleted, the &quot;Anakin speaking Droid,&quot; further proves that in the George version of Star Wars, at no time did ANY of the characters actually know or speak Droid, so nobody knew what R2 was saying without a translator.<br><br>The Prequels had the handheld translators and the OT, the X-Wing translates what R2 is saying for Luke to understand.<br><br>However, Disney being Disney doing what they do best, decided to change the lore and Rey and possibly Poe can understand R2 and BB8 without a translator.
