Hi, Mattie. I keep finding a good songwriting guide, and then you popped up! Thank you so much for this video. I hope we can write something together one day.
You can read something I wrote today if you like.

Verse 1:
I'm sitting in my room, and it's raining outside
I think about our lovely times when you were by my side
I'm writing songs, I'm crying loud
You're happy with somebody else, which doesn't make me proud
Pre-chorus:
The first time you ever held me in your arms
The first time you've ever broken my heart
Those days are long gone, and I have no regrets
But I haven't finished loving you yet
Chorus:
You're out of sight, but you're still in my mind
I remember you told me to leave it all behind
But why should I move on from you to find
Somebody who never understands?
Remember, I'll follow anywhere you go
On top of the mountains, and waters below
So I guess it's time that I'll let you know
That I'll love you till the end

Sincerely,
Tann Fierce💜

THANK YOU! ❤ This is exactly what I needed! I always come up with lyrics and melody and now I can finally finish it with chords!

Is it bad that i just wana make one song and thats it tho. Cuz what if someone likes it and asks me about the next, i dont wana make more i just want to make one and let that be it. Also i wana use a piano for the melody but dont have a physical piano, is there any you could recommend.
