Four Essential Keys to Achieving Khushu:

1. Presence of the Heart (10:08): Prepare yourself before starting Salah by remembering you are about to stand before your Creator, who loves you more than a mother loves her child.
2. Understand What You Are Saying (14:41): It is difficult to focus if you do not know the meaning of the words you recite. The Ustadh encourages learning the translation of the Surahs and phrases used in prayer, even if just for the ones recited most frequently.
3. Slow Down (19:16): Rushing is a major obstacle. He highlights that adding just a little time to each position—ensuring you are at peace in Ruku and Sujud—transforms the quality of the prayer.
4. Talk to Allah (31:31): View Salah as a personal conversation. Reflect on the meanings of Al-Fatiha and other supplications as a direct dialogue with Allah, rather than just a series of mechanical recitations.
