  I live in Indonesia, and this happens a lot more often than you think. One of the scariest parts is the platform hire loan sharks to get their money back. A lot of people lose their jobs because the loan sharks terrorize by calling them to their workplaces. And the workplaces consider the calls as disturbing, so they just cut off the employees who owe money to the platforms. Since they lost their jobs, they cannot pay the loans back at all. Vicious cycle.

  People are missing the point, sure she needs to be better with her money, but were talking about the ridiculous and predatory nature of online loans thats prevalent in Indonesia targetting those who are desperate and conceal their interest through the fine print. The video pointed out how there are millions of others in the same boat as her, and these companies take full advantage of these situation. It shows how scummy the practice is and how minimal the regulations deal with that

  We had the same situation here in the UK.  They were called 'Payday Loans'.   Absolutely, ruinous.  Very easy to get small loans, but interest mushroomed.  A terrible trap.  UK government banned them quite rightly so.  I wish this lady well.

  Online loans in Indonesia are very predatory and aggresive in promotion, knowing the behavior of Indonesians who love debt, dont love to count and very lenient and very open to loopholes laws of this country.
