  I saw the original in the eighties at a car show in corpus Christi TX. Had to be 83-84. Somewhere I have a picture of me sitting in it. 13_14 years old at the time. Also have a picture of me next to the general Lee and the batmobile.. Looking back on it I'm reminded how cool it was to see all those iconic cars in one place. It was a few years before we got the back to the Future DeLorean.

  The dash is just awesome. I think I would have tears in my eyes, my childhood flooding back and that realisation kicking in. Great job, guys 🤩Lee

  Old dash was seasons 1 and 2, new dash season 3 and switch pods changed for season 4. There was no season 5.  Also slightly different for pilot and season 1 had a more chunkier overhead panel.

  Knight Rider never came back for a 5th season, but there was talk of possibly bringing back Knight Rider for a 5th season though

  This is impressive my buddy and wanted to do this same thing to his 82 Trans Am in 1995. But looking back a couple of 15 and 16 year olds would never been able to come up with $11,000 or the equivalent back in 1995. But yours is coming together quite nicely, all we succeeded in doing was putting the tracker on the front😅!

  I live in a state that rhymes with ‘olorado’ and a State Patrol officer for 24 years. I once pulled a K.I.T.T kit over. RO was clear &amp; cool so I’m about to drop warnings when suddenly unrequested backup arrives. It’s not a Sheriff’s deputy but THE county Sheriff, who proceeds to take the RO into custody for “personation of a <br>Emergency Services” for running a red light bar. <br><br>Not only did I not vote for him, I told the story at a campaign event for his challenger - a well deserving deputy. Thus the “Sheriff <i>__</i> hates Knight Rider” went viral and he eventually lost the election - not only over this. <br><br>I got in some hot water for it, but not career ending. Cops on YouTube can be pretty divisive. People don’t want to believe we were once kids and we love cars too!<br><br>PS. Be careful with light bars on your cars folks.

  I&apos;m working on a easy to install and budget friendly electronics kit for season 1-2, I&apos;ve been selling the season 3-4 kits for a while now, those are budget friendly and easy to install as well
