I never thought in a million years that I would see a crowd so uninterested and sparse standing in front of those two legends 🤯

For The Underground Electronic Music Scene, These Two Truly have Achieved, For My Generation (I'm 50)  What John Lennon And Paul MacCartney Have Achieved For The Pop Music Scene Of Their Generation. From Their Creativity, Boundary Pushing Productions, For Them As A Duo, For The Inspiration They Have Had On Up And Coming DJs, For The Music They Made, For The Dance Scene Globally. For The Millions Of Dance Fans Who Still Follow Them Today Over 30 Years Later. (for me) It Is Definitely Sasha And John Who Get The Crown.

I was here for this set! The energy was amazing! The people around me were DANCING! Ultra has a bad reputation but I will give it to them, their side stages (Resistance, megastructure, cove) have immaculate vibes !! It’s a festival within a festival!

Notice how they’re not doing the Jesus pose every 3 minutes, not screaming “WHATS UPPPPPP ULLLTRAAAAAA!” a mic, or climbing on the decks to do fist pumps?  This is the penultimate case of leaving everything to the music…and I’ve been here for it wi the S&D since 1996 never to be disappointed :)

Saw Digweed do 3 shows across Europe in 2003/2004, what great times.  Going to see John and Sasha tonight 23 years later, no expectations, just hyped.

I remember I danced next to Sasha while Digweed was spinning at like 6am during the Delta Heavy tour in 2001 in San Francisco at club 1015.  All the kids left the club and Digweed played us a set until 8am with a handful of people still left in the club, just main floor was open..  I remember leaving the club and the sun was out and people were walking there dogs.  That was the life back then.

one hour and a half is not enough to these two monster to show what they are able to do in a set but still wonderful, b2b format can't be better than this, they know each other like no one else, decades of experience, thank you so much for many years rocking the dancefloor all over the world!
