I just received this kit from PE. After watching this i feel validated ❤❤. This should pair up well with my two 12in subs and i have one port left on my DSP-Mini.

Use router on inner under lip of subwoofer opening to round edges to reduce diffraction. Doing so reduces ringing and increases transient detail and warmth too. It is noticable improvement and simple fix.

I was watching a YouTube video that shows the ultimax 2 coil as a 2 layer copper clad aluminum coil. Not a 4 layer copper. So it had me skeptical if I want to buy one. I know it’ll do well for sq and moderate power. But I love pounding my subs hard sometimes and I want one that’ll last

Well done! I learned a lot from watching this. I build sub boxes all the time. For home and car audio. Finally just bought a cordless router. I also never paint the bottom's of my enclosures. I always tell myself I will finish, but then I dont because i want to test it so bad.
