  That the freedom ending is only achieved by staring at a monitor, following instructions of what buttons to push and for how long, and that Stanley is happy in this, just like he was for his entire office worker life...this game is nearly pure satire but that&apos;s one of my more liked bits of writing in it.

  fun fact: If he had kept playing just one more time and chosen a path through the meeting room, there would have been a big writing on the whiteboard &quot;Restart the Game entirely&quot;. It was specifically put there for people who try to get through it in one sitting (so they may miss that quitting out and starting again actually does something).

  There is no such thing as &quot;losing&quot; or &quot;winning&quot; in the Stanley Parable. All endings are equally cannon and pretty much equally valued.

  In the ending where the building is blown up after pressing “on” there is legitimately NOTHING you can do. The 1-5 buttons open a door that closes right before you reach it. Everything else does nothing.
