The fact that your wife laughed about the Afghanistan never being on fire, just goes to show she is absolutely perfect for you, bravo you two 😂

Come on Stak, just do three vacations right in a row. It might restore the Roman Empire at this rate. 😂

War elephants in the mid 20th century is probably the dumbest decision a military could make. Elephants scare easily, are huge targets, and are notably weak to machine guns. They are also a pain in the ass to breed, and "tame." To get an elephant to accept a rider, you need to separate the child from its mother, and beat it into submission for its entire childhood. This will take years. Two years for the child to gestate, and then a few years to get big enough to ride. The mother might also never be compliant with humans ever again. Meaning she can't be used for breeding more elephants.
Do you see the problem here?
Paradox says to hell with that and makes them faster than most light tanks, gives them bonuses in MOUNTAINS, and just... no.

“Not after watching Afghans come howling down out of the hills and taking battlefield command after all the officers had copped it!”

The Year of the Horse is approaching. And what better way to celebrate than with a video involving horses?
