  I ate there a couple years ago. The crab fried rice was quite good as was the grilled giant river prawn. While waiting in line that morning a limo pulled up and a younger man in a green suit and a woman still in an evening gown got out and walked up to the sign in book. The restaurant employee indicated they would have to sign in and wait. The couple left apparently upset that their "status" wouldn't gain them immediate entry. Here Hai gained my respect for not showing favoritism. That morning my wait was around 45 minutes.

  Before this restaurant became popular, I used to frequent this place because I would take my motorbike to get service across the street. But after this place became more popular among tourists, the lines kept getting longer and longer until I couldn't stand in line. However, I always order online to have it delivered to my office when I'm craving crab fried rice and mantis shrimp.

  Where I grew up, there was a Thai restaurant that was super popular and very beloved.  The owner had moved from Thailand and served traditional Thai dishes.  I distinctly remember how the fried rice had an incredible smokiness and char to it.  Each grain of rice was separate, and infused with that deep, rich wok flavor.  I ordered the pineapple, chicken fried rice every time we ate there.  The superior quality of the food and the love that went into making each plate is something I will always remember.  💖

  Multiple non-stick pans with metal utensils is horrifying. I'm Thai and have sadly witnessed this in alot of very good restaurants here. This has to stop

  So glad you have this channel with shorter videos that are still engaging and informative.   If it's under 20 minutes, I'm more likely to watch.
