  After Dimebag, everybody should be thanking Green Day's security for taking things "way more seriously than expected." The reality is you can never know what to expect at a large show, so its best to assume the worst until you know otherwise.

  I saw Megadeth back in 94 and I remember there was one lone dude standing there who would alternate between holding his hand high while flipping them the bird or turn his back to the stage altogether and I wondered why he was even there as they were the headliner that night.

  I had a drummer from the first band on a 4 band bill fall off his stool and die of a heart attack when I was on sound one night. An unforgettable and tragic night. RIP Raf.

  I knew a girl in college who worked at the station the night of the fire.  She was trying to get a bunch of us from class to go, but none of us did.  We didn't know if she'd made when we were in class on Monday, but luckily she survived.  It really is a tragedy that never should have happened.
