  I see why the Nightcore community is so huge. The original version of these songs are too slow. Anyone else notice that? Or do I just watch too much Nightcore? xD

  Does anyone else get that feeling of life accomplishment where you see the background of a nightcore video many years in the past and think “cool anime girl with cool background” but nothing more, like it was just someone’s art piece or some random gritty anime with ‘badass waifus’ that you don’t really care for, then you learn about the anime separately, forgetting about this wallpaper, and you get invested in the franchise of the character and all that nitty gritty, THEN you’re hungry for nightcore randomly one day, you type “nightcore” in the search, and you scroll until you see a video with a red bar meaning you’ve seemingly watched it before, only to look too long at the background of said video and realise “those boots… that dress… the hair… that… ribbon… HOMURA???” and then you just smack your face realising you once looked at this background and thought it was just a random edgy anime girl wallpaper, but now you look at it and know the significance of this character on anime culture in the magical girl genre?<br>Jesus Christ, that was long.<br>The point is, I once didn’t know about Homura Akemi or the Madoka Magica series, I was ignorant. Like a foreign word.<br>But now, years later with life-building and obsession-finding, I comeback to one of the places that I first saw this word - this character - and I feel like I’ve come full circle in a character arc.<br>What once had no meaning before, means so much now…<br><br>Anyone else excited for Walpurgisnacht Rising?
