  Well, this one went off in a few directions. It seems fairly confirmed at this point that the Emperor is beginning to if not return, then strengthen his presence. The real question though is - if he returns, what form will it take, and more importantly what will it mean for humanity. What is the Emperor's long term agenda, is he a positive or negative force, has he lost all sense and care for human concepts of morality long ago? Tell me your thoughts. ENJOYED?   GW owes you massive commissions. Just myself and my friend group alone have spent well into the thousands of dollars on plastic crack as a direct result of becoming invested in the 40k verse from viewing your content.

  I do think it&apos;s time for 40k to enter a new chapter. The rebirth of the Emperor would bring back old fans in droves. But you would need him to occupy the same narrative space as he always has. The rebirth in the warp allows him to continue to be an icon and a presence without actually having to make many physical appearances. And it finally, finally, moves the story forward in meaningful ways.

  I love the horrifying aspect that could be: He didn&apos;t plan or want any of this, &nbsp;no long con for godhood. And the thing being born in the warp is a Daemon reflection of himself, waiting for him to die so that it can consume his soul.

  I love hearing more theories and thoughts about the Emperor. It&apos;s hard to find characters as deep and conflicting as he is. Every time he&apos;s on the page he just takes over the scene completely.

  Here&apos;s a bit of fun fan speculation from the early 2000s 40k resurgence, evocative of &quot;The Emperor&apos;s Daemons&quot; by the individual known as &quot;Brusilov&quot; from Warseer. (Amusingly, these 20-year old conversations are based upon background from 30-year old materials!) <br> <br>Anyway, the gist was to view the Emperor as a Trinity: <br> <br>* The Corpse <br>* The Child <br>* The Twin <br> <br>&quot;The Corpse&quot; is formed of the physical remains of the Emperor that sits upon the Golden Throne. Back in the days, this was suggested to be the fragmenting &quot;Many Mind&quot; of the Shaman that created the first New Man. This was the entity that you encountered in Watson&apos;s &quot;Inquisitor&quot; (which you note as problematic). <br> <br>&quot;The Child&quot; was the Star Child--the soul and central power/psychic energy of the New Man. <br> <br>On the other hand, &quot;The Twin&quot; (or the Dark Twin) was the warp god that is formed from the worship of the Emperor. It is the god of vengeance, purity, and murder. It empowers the Living Saints. It&apos;s the source of power for Imeprial apotropaism. <br> <br>In essence, &quot;The Twin&quot; is the old Warhammer god, &quot;Malal&quot;. <br> <br>Let the fun ensue. :D

  The duality of the Emperor is quite fascinating and the prospect of him being reborn as some kind of god is both wonderful and terrifying. &nbsp;Much like 40k as a whole.
