  Kota is actually "Quarter", cause it's a quarter of a bread. But due to how black South Africans pronounce the word, we started writing it as "Kota".

  I'm from England🇬🇧 and I know all the negative things about South Africa from other Africans I don't buy them South Africa🇿🇦🇿🇦 is beautiful the people are beautiful too

  We very seldom eat the ouma rusks dry (@<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9tjNBiSl3M&amp;t=214">3:34</a>). We dunk it in coffee and allow it to go a bit soggy. &nbsp;The box is obviously store bought, but home baked is much better. &nbsp;We make a variety of recipes, adding chocolate, nuts, fruit, caramel bits, etc in different combinations to the dough before baking and drying it. Yum!

  Today, we can acknowledge the positive contributions made by many white South Africans, even when political narratives focus mainly on the injustices of the past. Recognizing those injustices does not mean we must ignore every positive contribution to South Africa’s development.<br><br>When we look at the challenges people face under different governments across Africa, it reminds us that leadership should ultimately be judged by how it treats and serves its people—not simply by the race of those in power.<br><br>We can appreciate the positive contributions of white South Africans while still acknowledging the painful and complicated history of the country. Both realities can be part of an honest conversation about South Africa.african countries living in poverty
