  You&apos;re right traveling in the US has plenty of dangerous parts. So many Americans that are afraid to travel abroad that claim the US is so safe are the same people that complain about city crime. &nbsp;The US has plenty of places I&apos;d never go regardless of time.

  Nothing ever happens at night that’s good unless I’m in my room lol. That’s my goal traveling is be in by dark or with a group of safe people

  When I visit 30-ish years ago, I was travelling with a friend that had lived in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda since childhood. At one point there was a guy stealing an old lady&apos;s purse. That lead to a riot and the guy also got killed by the crowd. That was scary and I&apos;m lucky I was with my friend. He said: &quot;-Turn around slowly and keep strolling the other way. Don&apos;t run, but don&apos;t stick around.&quot;

  Something i noticed was that every apartment complex, including the one you are staying at has a giant walled retractable door and walls surrounding the complex, fortified, fortress like, I imagine like yours they all have security as well.....although i didn&apos;t see bars on the windows, it does, prima facie paint a picture on its own.
