Captain: "For those sitting on the right-hand side of the plane, enjoy the spectacular view of Manhattan, for the rest, chicken or beef?"  :)

If you ever visit NYC make sure to walk on the Brooklyn Bridge, it’s sight to behold when facing Manhattan

There are many things we may not remember over decades...BUT....,there is one thing one can NEVER forget...flying over NYC and looking out of the airplane window for the first time!

My hometown, born and raised in the Bronx. In fact, I put my phone on pause to get a screenshot of the building where I grew up. Brought back a lot of great memories! Growing up in the 60's-70's and going to 12 years of Catholic school, I wouldn't change a thing. The plane went over the cemetery where my mom, dad and brother are buried. I started to cry because I miss them so much! But thank you for taking this video, great shots of Lower Manhattan (where the World Trade Center was), another terrible day for all of us. Stay safe and well everyone. God bless you all.😔

Its been almost 20 years and i still say the city skyline isn't the same without the twin towers. God bless all those lovely people.

Probably the single MOST breathtaking video I have ever watched on YouTube. Immensely beautiful. Bravo!

You literally got almost 360 degree fly over of all 5 boroughs (Staten Island out the other side of the plane) on a perfect day! Not every approach is like that. Love it when that happens!

I’ve lived in NYC all my life and I’ve never gotten this good a view of the city from a plane. Really lucky.

If you pause at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4yQJffkFA0&amp;t=120">2:00</a> you can see where the Twin Towers used to stand 😢
