  Playing from beta I know in 2014 most hated card was Undertaker because you lose game on turn 1 and in 2015 it was Mysterious Challenger.

  Something I realized from this is how simple and fun mid 2010s Hearthstone was. After like 2017 the game became somewhat complicated and nothing like the old way of playing it.

  The spot for 2016 unquestionably belongs to Patches the Pirate. Back then every deck fell into one of two categories, either you ran it yourself or you figure out a way to survive it. There wasn&apos;t any card that came even close to its impact on the meta.<br>As for Barnes, for a very long time after the release it was basically nothing but a pure meme card with zero competitive strength. It wasn’t until the Knights of the Frozen Throne (late 2017) introduced Shadow Essence and Obsidian Statue that Big Priest finally became a solid tier-one deck.

  Pen Flinger is also a honorable mention. Because of how oppressive this deck was. It was just slowly pecking your health away from 30 to 0, targeting face all the time and you couldn&apos;t do a damn thing about it. The opponent basically played solitarie shitting 0 mana card after 0 mana card after 0 mana card.
