This Sorcery epic is the crowning achievement for Jackson. Read as an arc, you receive such a sense of achievement when reaching the Arch Mage at the end. I rate this series as the bench mark in these chose your own path gamebooks. Forever replayable and instantly enjoyable.

The illustrations by John Blanche give the books a great atmosphere.

I wish these would get the same reprint treatment as the Lone Wolf series.

Thanks for this lovely video. As someone new to the world of gamebooks, I decided to go with this series. One I can recommend is *Way of the Quail*; this gamebook originates in Germany and is also available in English. It is set in feudal Japan and has been crafted with great care.

I had all these Sorcery books. A quality series.I recall having to order the Crown of Kings from my town centre book store and wait ages. Ah, the days before the internet. What I remenber of playing the books was, it was difficult. I was always getting despatched, my characters' hand sliced off in a trap or whatever. I used to randomly pick a point in the book and try from there. It didn't help. Maybe I didn't know how to play it!

As a kid I was obsessed with Sorcery and Jackson's Fighting Fantasy series. I think I had every one that, sadly, were all destroyed in a basement flood.

Loved this! Thank you.
