  Everybody here “uhm ahktually”-ing Smyth not realizing just because you CAN be a zero damage heal bot effectively, doesn’t mean you couldn’t be MORE effective by contributing to the team offensively when the situation calls for it.<br><br>Rocket is very effective offensively when played right, and so long as you don’t neglect your role as healer there is so much potential benefit to being another effective source of damage in clutch moments.

  As a GM Rocket enthusiast, practice with his gun, you guys! I started running Doom matches and Conquest with Rocket and can now go toe-to-toe with the best dive characters in the game. Obviously, you shouldn&apos;t be DPS Rocket in the game, but now I can shred tanks or take an aggressive off angle when the team needs it. I can push Moon Knights or Squirrel Girls, and also defend Psylocks or Iron Fists. Always be the healer 1st, but once you recognize your windows of opportunity, go get some EASY picks! Trust

  As a rocket main, you really have to pick and choose when youre &quot;heal botting&quot;. Its better to support your team by popping off dmg inbetween healing but also when an enemy is already at lower health. It allows you to continue healing more and for your team to refocus on other enemy team members

  Rocket can almost do it all<br>-dps is insane up close<br>-heal multiple people without cool down <br>-revive a teammate <br>-mobility/ straight flying like mercy or running/dashing across the map <br>-damage boost-40%<br>-dive supports - even just to make them reposition or lose focus <br>-chase low hp enemies <br><br>Tips:<br>- Counter ult invisible woman ult by placing you&apos;re ultimate outside hers (you can out damage her healing/still see your teammates inside with the lines from his ultimate)<br><br>I like to think <br>&quot;He&apos;s a dps that can heal.&quot;<br><i>_________________________</i><br>His team up is carrying him a lot atm. Its damage is insane / its a ult on cooldown

  Only one orb can heal at a time, so you are absolutely correct that spamming does not heal any faster than shooting one orb right before the first one leaves range. <br><br>This video made me really see the benefit of interweaving bursts of left click between heal orbs. I will do some experimenting.

  Waiting for people to realize rocket has a higher dps and damage per mag than punishers AR

  Do not do this in lower elo btw, you will have teammates who runs away from the orb and repeatedly run forwards and spread out. I tried doing cobtrolled orb like this to maximize damage, most of the time my teammates would just try their best to get themselves killed. Another thing contributing to this is because the orb slows down it wont get the teammates that are a few meters ahead ao you need the second one to do that.

  A couple of notes. 1st, the bullets and healing balls both get reloaded on a reload. So if you can stop healing for brief moments to spam about 75% of your bullet mag you get the same rough downtime on reloading. 2nd, &quot;heal botting&quot; can still work if all your teammates are in like a cylinder in front of you. The orbs will slow down on teammates who need healing, and pass through ones who have a orb already healing them.

  I spam orbs in low elo because my team is everywhere and the more orbs i have bouncing around in different directions and fown different hallways and into different rooms the more likely i am to provide heals to all of the out of position DPS and tanks.

  What I’ve noticed is that I think that players can only be healed by one orb at a time. So controlled is best unless you are cover multiple angles.

  but truth be told, id rather have a heal bot on my team than a support who&apos;s trying to be a dps and failing at it.

  I&apos;ve been trying to weave in orbs while shooting as much as possible. He has no aoe damage at all, so he&apos;s really the strategist with the least boosted damage stats. Rocket will have 1/3 the damage of Sue, but more of Rocket&apos;s damage likely lead to a kill.
