The 3 most important things I learned as a NYC recording session player-composer.<br>1. Be on time. You can be a Guthrie Govan, but if you're late twice you're off their call list.<br>2. Don't be a dick. The walls close in very fast for those stuck in the session with you. One of the best musicians I've ever met was blacklisted because he acted like a dick once to the wrong people.<br>3. Don't laugh hysterically when the client asks if you can make it "more Orange".
