I love backpack ministry. The most fun is filling the bags with supplies, and going to the back to school fair to watch the kids picking theirs out!

I don't read stories in the Bible of retiring... I think its a modern construct aimed at taking away our purpose. But when Jesus IS your purpose, life circumstances are just that... they should draw us closer and deeper. Especially in the age we living in now

“Lord, we cleared this land. We plowed it, sowed it, and harvested it. We cooked the harvest. It wouldn’t be here, we wouldn’t be eatin’ it if we hadn’t done it all ourselves. We worked dog‑bone hard for every crumb and morsel, but we thank you just the same anyway, Lord, for the food we’re about to eat. Amen” --Jimmy Stewart

This is probably the most difficult concept to understand. I want to store up heavenly treasures. I WANt to give, I want to be generous! I believe God gives me my daily bread. But in reality there is literally not funds to give. How do you not give up. 😢
