also, some art tips for a healthy mindset

1. You aren't 'struggling with' anything, you are learning something new, you do not know, and are learning how to execute better with each iteration. It isnt personal, cant tell a 4 year they 'struggle' at reading. same with beginner artists. You can only struggle with something you deeply know, have experience with and still get the execution wrong, forget, or that thing js doesnt click like your other skills.

2. Insecurity, jealousy, and comparison is normal, even if not a healthy habit. But narrow the line, if you're trying to be a realism artist but you find yourself getting upset and envious of a stylized artists work, and thinking 'aw my works never gonna like that', yeah, cause that's not your goal for YOUR art. its the same technical skills applied differently, for a lot of different genres of art, (not all).

3. You're not a materialistic, shallow, greedy person for wanting to post your art online and hoping to gain a following. the point of creation put out to the public, is for community. to invite people in, who appreciate you, your work and create themselves, and develop a safe space. in the modern age that js also comes with monetization, so yknow, YA DONT STARVE

4:00 the point you make here is pretty important! I would add to it that sometimes, constraint is in an of itself the thing that generates creativity rather than limiting it. There's an old saying, "necessity is the mother of innovation" and that turns out is true in art, not just in engineering and whatever else. "How do I make this look like I want" while working in a medium that doesn't let you do the thing exactly like you want makes you get creative to get the object kind of sort of like you want it, which ends up making the artwork that much more unique and interesting to look at. That's how 99% of the "traditional art" methods ever happened in the first place.
