  Awesome mod!  I love it when someone is thinking 'outside of the box'.  My quest for a older Model S is now back on thanks to this mod.  I was considering buying a car lift to do the more invasive coolant delete but this is a great workaround.   I may still buy a lift...  If I keep it long enough I'm sure I'll be servicing the battery.

  Just installed the kit. Took about 3 hours to complete. Everything worked well no coolant leaks. Dust caps also worked well. I used a little bit thicker o rings and some sealant.

  Successful kit install! Thanks Kevin. The kit arrived in UK very quickly and email advice was excellent. I found it very awkward on my 2015 MS 85. Couldn&apos;t figure out how to get car onto jackstands on the driveway as the lifting jacks had the puck positions. Bought some ramps and reversed the car up. Put car to sleep but battery coolant pump ran for some time. Keep the key in the house as it can wake the car up. Pulled the speed sensor and it was dry, just a tiny bit of condensation. For some reason, on my car, access to the pipe bolt at the gearbox was very hard and I nearly gave up. Ratchet socket only had room for one click per turn. My electric saw has a long body and the rear left wheel got in the way a bit. My top tip was I don&apos;t like silicon in damp areas so I used hybrid polyurethane sealant that can cure even when wet, in UK there&apos;s CT1 or OB1 or PU40. I tapped the cut pipe end plug on too hard and cracked it so filled it with sealant. Plenty of sealant around the gearbox plug and new barb then blew, not too hot, air gun over them. While waiting I changed the gearbox oil. Tightened everything up and did the coolant purge in Service mode 3 times till the level stopped dropping. No leaks!<br>Hardest job I&apos;ve done because of the lack of room but thanks to Kevin I now have much greater confidence in the longevity of my LDU.
