The way George told it, he and Jeff were having lunch in LA, Jeff invites Roy, Goerge gets a call from the record company needing a b side for a song release in Europe, no studio available, wait Bob has a studio in his garage, call Bob, says come on over, George has to stop at Tom's to get his guitar, so... what do we write about, sees a box in the corner with a sticker that says Handle With Care

Great reaction! No one should expect you to know all the artists. We older people seem to forget that you weren’t around when these guys were popular. At least you have new names to react to in the future

The Traveling Wilburys is a rock supergroup from 1988, made up of Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, & Jeff Lynne. Also joining them is Jim Keltner who is a well-known session drummer. They had a lot of great songs such as "End Of The Line", "Heading For The Light", "Inside Out", "Tweeter & The Monkey Man", "Dirty World", "Last Night", "She's My Baby", "Rattled", "Nobody's Child", "Congratulations" etc. Sadly only 2 guys are now left from this group (Bob Dylan & Jeff Lynne).

Love George's dry little smile as he sings the sarcastic line
"Oh, the sweet smell of success..."
So much history packed into that line, and that smile... <3

Roy unfortunately passed away just after this was released. The videos following this one, they used his photographs in the videos.
Legendary top to bottom.

"End of the Line" is a must hear Wilbury tune. George Harrison has passed, R.I.P., "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is a must hear from George along with many others both solo and with the Beatles. His beautiful melodic guitar playing is always just right for the song.

Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynn, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty. Sad that only Bob and Jeff are still with us.
