  Doordash or anything like that you need to buy a cheap 2,000 to 3000 dollar car. I just got laid off in July had to go into my savings to buy a  2011 versa 150000 miles for 2,200 with title so I can do Uber eats and not deplete my savings. Worked 70 hour weeks in August to pay for this car and also to put in $1000.00 dollars in repairs that it needed. Not saying everyone can do this but you can stay above water without signing your soul away to a dealership and putting yourself in a worse position.

  Most dealerships will not take buy a car over 120k and some dealerships will not buy over 100k, they might give you money for trade in for down payment BUT they will sell it to a auction and end up on a cash for clunkers!!!

  The 200,000 mile RAV4 would be between $3,000 and $7,000 in Bluebook value (depending on trim) so it&apos;s ultimately worthless too. Getting $8,000 on any 200,000 mile trade in/sale is on the high end, at 200,000 miles the vehicle is not only effectively ancient but it&apos;s also going to need work on virtually every component subject to wear (and there&apos;s WAY more to work on with a gas vehicle than a BEV). You can go ahead and tack on another $6,000-$8,000 for the RAV4 right out of the gate for the suspension, brakes and rotors, differential and transmission fluid flushes and refills, plugs, wires and coils, tires, clutch, and anything else from the entire maintenance schedule that could reasonably be assumed to have been overlooked or not properly attended to by the previous owner who is getting rid of it at that high mileage.<br><br>$3,000 represents 10% of a low trim RAV4 and $7,000 represents 16% of the highest trim, while $8,000 represents 13.3% of the inflated $60,000 Tesla M3 purchase price. No 200,000 mile car is a good deal and no 200,000 mile car retains a good portion of its value.
