  Rogue Warrior is amazing because it's a game where it becomes more and more clear as you play it that the devs hated every moment of doing it and have zero respect for Dick Marcinko and it finishes with a smooth jazz techno song with clips of Mickey Rourke "singing" over it using clips from the game edited to be lyrics. 10/10, no notes, best example of malicious compliance I have ever seen.

  Oh my God Damnation, what a huge piece of shit.<br><br>Me and my friend used to religiously platinum games on the PS3 and we used a service to rent games so we would often get the same game and platinum things together if it had or required co-op, Damnnation was one.<br><br>We had to play it on the hardest difficulty and that game seems like it would be basically impossible to beat solo. In Co-op you have the ability to revive your partner at a distance using some magical shit and the only way we got through the game was for one of us to do the combat while the other hid and just spammed reviving because you would literally die in one single hit.<br>I can remember absolutely nothing about the game besides the aesthetic, those enemies with the daggers or whatever and how frustrating it was to 100%.

  Magus looks like an early prototype of a game. Like they just made sure the fundamentals work, that it runs, and then skipped all the rest of the development.

  I really liked Vampire Rain, to the point it&apos;s the only PS3 game I bought on import because I couldn&apos;t find the European release anywhere. I wrote a user review of the XBox 360 version on IGN that explained why their review was both unfair and, most importantly, factually inaccurate - and you didn&apos;t even need to buy the game to prove it, merely download the free demo. For one thing, it said vampires were almost impossible to kill and they only managed it once during the game, when some levels (one of which was part of the demo) give you weapons that kill vampires with one hit. I liked to think this was why the PS3 got an entirely new review, rather than (as they like to do) posting the same review again.

  Magus made me legitimately do a double take. It&apos;s almost surreal seeing what we would nowadays recognize as just another asset flip, but published back in the PS3 era.
