Funny enough, that "side by side" is so popular that the official Legends of Avantris channel has started to upload shorts in that format)

9:46 nothing saddens and angers me more than when people pause a video right at the punchline and then the joke misses its entire power

The “mice in the carpet” bit might be the single funniest joke Derek has created, and I believe he is the funniest of this group. Truthfully, nobody’s ever not funny, but he’s the best in a great bunch

Look at the bright side, Kari. At least you learned to pause before ranting

My favourite part of the animations vs their actual campaigns is how animation Nikki usually looks incredibly done with the guys' shenanigans when she's actually smiling and laughing along with them

Bitsy and Chuckles playing so well off each other (and tormenting Gideon as a result) made that clip so hilarious

Honestly one of the best tidbits I got is from a video Shoocharu made on how he makes these animated videos is that Shooch has NO idea what any of DnD is. I think that's also part of why the animations work so well just on their own. It's literally Shooch just trying to figure out what is going on as he animates. I don't even think he watches the context around the clips. That's how he can craft his own variations on the storyline.

5:03 I honestly would love a two person campaign of Derek and Mikey— nobody else— just those two going apeshit on the campaign— I think that would be Very funny—

Love that the live-action shorts are getting some spotlight, they are highly underrated

8:50 the fuckin mice in the carpet animation is my FAVORITE ONE— THIS ONE IS SO FUNNY— Derek did not have to do that to her and just went ahead and did it anyways 😂 he couldn't ignore the golden opportunity—
