  Rockstar is literally the definition of attention to detail. It was rockstars fault for appointing anyone but themselves to work on their own games.

  Even with classic lighting restored, some of the game textures, shading and models still need more re-work and fix too.

  It&apos;s a step in the right direction. For older players, I don&apos;t think it will ever be enough but for someone new who never touched this trilogy before, it&apos;s probably the best way to play it unless you want to spend some time on pc patching and modding the original version.

  I ignored this for the longest time. Finally caved and got it for Switch a few weeks ago. Did the update and refused to acknowledge the game’s past. Playing San Andreas now. Plays fine, looks good. It definitely reminds me of how I played it on Xbox 360 back in the day. Which is what I wanted.

  My guess as to why they would do this now is that San Andreas turned 20 recently and this is a low key way to celebrate it I guess.

  One thing I don’t see people complain about but I absolutely hate is the minimap. More specifically the player arrow being at the bottom of the map instead of the middle.
